WHERE MEMORIES FIND LIFE AGAIN

Some moments stay in our hearts even when the photographs begin to fade. At Cherished Moments we bring those memories back to life through meaningful ten second films created from a single old photo. Because the people we love deserve to be remembered in the warmest way.

A LOVING MOMENT PRESERVED

" My mom cried when she saw this moment come alive again. The photo was taken on my parents’ 40th wedding anniversary, a simple and quiet celebration she has always held close to her heart. Watching it move brought back the warmth of that evening and the way my dad smiled at her, just as he did all those years ago. She said it felt like being allowed to step back into a moment she thought she would never feel again. "

When forgotten moments come alive again

I found this photo while going through an old box I had not opened in years. My dad passed away in an accident thirty years ago and this was the last picture we ever took together. For most of my life it existed only as a fading memory something I tried to hold onto but could never fully see anymore. Watching this moment come alive again was overwhelming in a way I wasn’t prepared for. The way he looked at me the gentle smile he always had the way his arms held me close it all came back so vividly. For a brief moment it felt like I was standing there with him again a feeling I thought I would never experience for the rest of my life

My grandmother has always said that her wedding day with my grandfather was the most beautiful and unforgettable moment of her life. So for her birthday this year, I decided to turn their old wedding photo into a short video as a special gift. When she watched it, she covered her mouth and started to cry. Seeing her and my grandfather come alive again the smiles, the way he looked at her felt like she was stepping back into the memory she has held closest to her heart. It is a gift I know she will never forget.

This was the very last photo my grandparents ever took together, and our family has treasured it for years. I always worried that one day the picture would fade and we’d lose the moment forever. But then I found Cherished Moments, and everything changed. Seeing this photo come alive again felt like witnessing a small miracle. My whole family watched the video together, and there were tears, hugs, and so much joy. We’re just grateful that this moment can now be kept alive, not just in memory, but in a way we can hold onto forever.

For as long as I can remember, this photo was the closest I could get to being in my mother’s arms again. She became ill when I was ten, and by the time I turned fourteen, she was gone. Every year on her birthday, I would hold our old photos against my chest, trying to remember the warmth of moments that had slowly faded with time. Seeing this picture come alive felt overwhelming in the most beautiful way. For a few seconds, it felt like I was right back there my mum smiling, holding me close, just like when I was little.

My wife has been fighting late-stage cancer, and these past months she has spent most of her days in bed. On the hard days, she would hold onto her old family photos especially the ones of her parents, who are no longer here. They were her comfort. For Christmas, I wanted to give her something that could bring her a little strength. When she saw the photo come alive, she covered her mouth and cried. She said it felt like her mum was with her again, watching over her, giving her courage.

This photo of my parents when they were young has always been their favourite, so I decided to turn it into a video as their Christmas gift. But after seeing the final result, I couldn’t wait until Christmas and showed it to them right away. Their faces lit up the moment the video started. Even though they’re older now, seeing their younger selves again brought out a happiness I haven’t seen from them in a long time. It reminded me that their love hasn’t changed, even as the years have.
